2025 Spring Softball

Welcome to registration for the Shrewsbury Little League 2025 Spring Softball season! Shrewsbury Little League ("SLL") provides girls ages 4 - 16 the opportunity to learn and develop their softball skills in a spring program that aims to provide a fun and exciting youth sports experience for players of all abilities. No experience necessary! SLL is a chartered member of Little League Baseball and Softball.

Important information and notes:

  • Softball age = Age of player ON August 31st 2024.
  • Add your spouse as an additional contact under the primary account (instead of creating a new account for them).

  • You can skip uploading proof of residency and school enrollment forms.

  • If you would like to volunteer as a head coach, assistant coach, team parent or other volunteer, please complete the necessary registrations.
  • For players in softball's Minors and Majors divisions, player evaluations will be held on February 9, 2025 from 11:30am - 2:30pm. More details for evaluations will be sent to you closer to the evaluation date.
  • Registration fees increase by $10 after January 18, 2025.
  • Registration closes on February 8, 2025. Any registrations after that date will be put on a wait list.
  • For Seniors we want to try something a little different this year and create a slow-pitch (high ball arc) league for all skill levels. Practices will be optional and games will be an opportunity to get together with friends in a fun/competitive game environment.

  • For players in baseball's AAA and Majors divisions, player evaluations will be held on a date to be determined prior to the start of the Spring season. More details and specific times for each evaluation will be available soon.

2025 Spring Challenger Program

The Challenger Program is an adaptive baseball program open to any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge who wishes to participate. The most fundamental goal of the Challenger Program is to give everyone a chance to play. You do not have to be a Shrewsbury resident to participate.

One of the benefits of the Challenger Program is that it encourages the use of "buddies/peer athletes" for the Challenger players. The buddies/peer athletes assist the Challenger players on the field but encourage them to bat and make plays whenever possible. However, the buddy is always nearby to help when needed.

Important information and notes:

  • Baseball age = Age of player ON August 31st 2025. See the Little League Challenger Age Determination website for more information.
  • The Little League Challenger Program accommodates players ages 4 to 18 or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school.
  • The Senior League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 15 and above (no maximum age).
  • Add your spouse as an additional contact under the primary account (instead of creating a new account for them).

  • You can skip uploading proof of residency and school enrollment forms.

  • There is no cost to the Challenger Program.
