This summer Shrewsbury Softball changed its format for 14U and older players. Instead of forming regular teams for the season, every game night is pickup style. Peter Agbay serves as the organizer. The players enter their availability into a spreadsheet and teams are formed for each game with a balance of pitching, catching and age distribution. Although an umpire is used, most of the games have limited adult/parent/coach involvement. The first one played on June 20th was a success!

Games are played two nights each week at 8 PM under the lights at Upper Dean Field. Upcoming dates for the season are 6/27, 6/29, 7/12, 7/13, 7/18, 7/19, 7/25, and 7/27.
